Merchant (Similar to Drugwar)

If you've played DrugWars, you'll like this game. You buy and sell different items to obtain as much cash as you possibly can. You get 30 days to buy and sell these items, and you can only hold 100 items at a time, so you have to choose wisely. This game should be up on the site in a few days if they ever update it (lately it hasn't updated much). I hope some people read this paragraph the guy who selfishly used this whole board to advertise for 09 Armies may make my article appear on page 3 or something.

Days to Go Before Release!!!

My programs Armies (the turn based strategy game every fan of my games (do i have fans?) should have) and Merchant (the Drugwar type game that your teachers cant delete for inappropriate content) are coming out in a few days. I need to finish up the beta testing and I need someone to teach me how to lock programs on the calc. If you want to download any of my previously released programs you can click on my name above or check out the archives on the site. Expect each game out soon! (I'm gonna be disappointed if these dont get as many downloads as SkillScape, because unlike SkillScape these games are actually good LOL)

Yep, the creator of 09 Armies, that's me. Anyway, first of all, you should know that your post is appearing on page FOUR because they reset the page marker back to page one a little while ago. This means that for the past two months, the posting has been going on (without any posts for 09 Armies) on the first four pages. THIS is not my fault. Secondly, this forum is, after all, titled UPCOMMING PROGRAMS. I believe that would mean "advertising" is what the forum is meant for. So whether or not I advertised it or not is of no relevance. So maybe instead of advertising ripoff games, you need to take a valume and lay off members of this site that have been around a lot longer than you (therefore knowing more about the workings of the site than you). Have a nice day :-)

Currently I am making a fully editable rpg engine for basic. It has a random text based dungeon generator. Exp and leveling, turn based battling with heal function, upgrading of weapons and armor, random monster spawn, Password functionality, these are just a few of the features. The engine is text based except a few pics which appear when the enemy appears and when he dies. The engine uses variables, so it is possible to incorperate it into a graphical game.

The 12 Labors (Hercules)

While wasting time in Latin class today, I suddenly got the greatest idea for a game: The 12 Labors! Those of you unfamiliar with the twelve labors should have at least heard of Hercules. Anyways, the game is going to include three modes of gameplay: 1) One Player Story, 2) Two Player Story, and 3) Two Player Mini-game (like Mario Party). The game will most likely be an APP (one block). I plan to start the game next week and finish by early May.

Ultimate Mario Levelset
|

|
I'm sure everyone has played Sam Heald's Super Mario World for TI-83+, right? The only problem with this game is the levels. Sure there are a lot of them out there, but none of them is good enough to keep on your calculator for more than a day or so. My solution to this problem is the ultimate Mario levelset. Although it will be huge in memory (probably as big as mario itself), it will be the only levels you ever need. Look for the 20-level world to come out in about two months.

I made a text-based RPG for the TI. It's called 'Rovellon' and will be released in a week.
You're a marksman and you can fight 6 different enemies, upgrade your weapons and armor (5 times), gamble, buy slaves, rest,...

Setback (aka Pitch)

I might start making a basic Setback game for 83+. However, since setback involves a lot of stradegy, I just can't see playing the computer (or calc). So it would have to be with another person on the same calc. What do you guys think????? Feedback PLEASE!

Question: Are there any games written in the TI-Power language in the archives?
Perhaps I'm making the first one!
