I am here to announce my first upcoming game. I am working with Matt Roberts(Airhawk and Glass Cars) on a game called coaster. There is no date set for when it will be out, because I am still learning Ion. It will be for the Ti-83 Plus. Thanks!

I'm making Mario in BASIC for the TI-83+ only. You can grab a beta version at my site, basicoderz.com, and I will have the beta on ticalc.org as soon as I'm done.

Hey hey
I'm programming a TI version of Night stalker, which I'll release for 83 ashell, 83 and 83+ ion. If you don't know what Night Stalker is, well, it's an old game that was released on Intelevision.. it's really cool, you're in this area at night and you have a bunker in the center, and a robot is generated that comes and trys to kill you. You have to retrieve a gun which has 5 shots (which is then respawned) and kill the robot. As you progress in score, the robots hunting you change (like at 5,000 points the robot will take more hits, and later there's a robot that can destroy your bunker, and even later there's a robot that's invisible). Anyway, point of the game is to get high score by killing the robots and other distractions. There is a spider and 2 bats that wander the area you're in, not hunting you but acting as obstacles in case you're trying to dodge a hunter robot, etc. I've provided a screenshot, click on the url link for this message.
No enemies yet, I'm developing the robots etc.
Let me know what you think.

I am working on the best Text based Ti-83+ game yet
Features include:
Animations for dramatic scenes.
Split screen for commands and output.
NO LOADING
All in basic but has incredible speed.
Part of the original ZORK story line but with a twist.
Command based exploring (none of that menu crap)
If anybody wants to know how I am doing it mail me at juskyl2k@aol.com

I am in the process of making a SpaceWar game in BASIC for the TI-83/83+. It is based on the SpaceWar game in asm for ION. Right now, I have everything done except for the shooting. The ship changes shape according to the arrow you press. So far the actual game loop is around 360 bytes and is extremely fast but it should be around 600-700 bytes when I'm done (that's just the keyloop program. The whole game is grouped so it doesn't slow gameplay). I'm hoping to submit it around July 5, 2000. The main loop used to be around 1300-1400 bytes and was very slow but I stayed up late last night, grouped the game, and optimized the code. This will be a great game, especially for those without a link cable. But even the people with a cable will find this entertaining. I'm in the process of learning asm now so by this time next year I will have probably ported my game to ION.

Once I learn to scroll the screen in asm and once I learn how to use sprites, I might start on a game called Blob Factory. It is a PC arcade game sort of like penguins. You go around in blob factory (2D scroller) and look for a radioactive bowl and you must avoid the enemies. Every level adds more enemies.
Another game I might start before this one is Maxit based on a PC game. What you do is pick a . . . well it's kind of hard to explain here. Go to my site in a month and I'll have the PC game up.
If you can tell me how to use sprites and scroll the screen, I'll include your name in the program and the readme. I REALLY NEED HELP!!!
