Vacation Times

It is vacation times for the ticalc.org staff. Being based in the northern hemisphere, we will enjoy summer. I know at least some of us will do some extensive travelling around the globe. Due to this, pending files will grow, help mail will be answered with greater delay, and not much new will happen for a month or two. The ticalc.org staff wishes all our visitors a good summer (or winter if you are below the equator) and hope you all understand we all need some vacation. Tell us about your own vacation plans below.

There should be a poll to go along with this.

I just got back from our trip to Destin Beach, Florida. All of my e-mail address storage is full and lots of my online passwords have expired.
Later in July I'll go on a French canoeing Trip were we can only speak French (and English if you don't know French). This trip is put on by Concordia and it's up (or down to people north of Minnesota) in the headwaters of Minnesota. It's very fun and this is my second year to do it.
I also built a new AMD T-bird with a 1333 MHz CPU. Big upgrade from my old Pentium MMX 233 MHz Computer.

I'm going to be having a fun summer: Princeton Review courses and summer homework for 5 APs. Guess I won't have much time to learn ASM, like I originally planned. :( Oh well.

I've already got six credits for HS, and I haven't even started yet! Anyways, I'm gonna skip Biology and take chemistry instead, then AP chemistry, then AP physics. I already took Earth science, Algebra, Geometry, and three years of Latin. However, I'm taking German next year instead of Latin IV.
As for vacations, I just had an exciting camping trip.
First off, our boat wasn't fixed when we needed it, so we left four hours late. next, the traffic was bad, so we didn't get there until nine. Then, we requested a camp site with power/water, but they gave us one without that. Then, we decided just to set up one of the pop-up things. Then, when my mom came back from seeing if they had any other places, she said they had one, so we had to take the pop-up down. When we got to the new site, we found out that it wasn't near the water and it was in the middle of everyone (the people with big lights and TVs/computers) and also that someone had reserved it for sunday. Then, when we setup the pop-ups, we found out that one of the power things wasn't working. After that, we soon found out that somebody had turned the cooler from a cold setting to a hot setting by accident, so a lot of our food was spoiled. Next, one of the zippers to the pop-up was broken, so there were lotsa bugs and spiders and stuff.
But other than that, it was fine.
