I am currently working on a rpg action adventure game for the ti89 in C. What is going to make this game so excellent is that the battle sequences are going to be more real time where as you actually dodge and try to attack each other. Unfortunately
I am going to probably need some help with the ai. It's going to be like super mario rpg for the Super NES in the fact that you will walk around and get items by doing things.
UPDATE
Main Characters (GOOD AND BAD) have been decided.
Note-Anyone who helps me I'll put in the credits.

JC Software has started a program called "Nothing be trouble"
It will be one of the most complex games for the ti-89.
In the game you will have to destroy as much of a city and kill the kingpin without being arrested or killed by one of the many gangs that rule the streets.
There will also be more cities and gangs after the first release.
JC SOFTWARE IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED GRAPHICS ARTIST, IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES SEND SOME OF YOUR WORK TO BMXTREME@SOAPSHOE.COM, IF WE LIKE IT YOU CAN JOIN YOUR TEAM IF YOU WANT TO.

Many of you are thinkin what the heck??!! Aint that an old zombie flick? Yes it is and its coming to the 89. It'll be a tribute to Romero, the father of gore.
I ported my D3D engine from the 82 to the 89 and it still runs faster than ever. All thats left to be finished is a storyline and enemies, weapons, wall textures, etc. Basically a crap loads. I know many of you hate to see another doom like game get thrown onto the 89 but I'm tellin you, its fast as heck. Of course this is gonna be in BASIC but the graphics will mostly be greyscale. (Using libs of course). If anyone would like to help me continue this project you can e-mail me at:
rfanatik@yahoo.com
Only serious inquiries only.
Thanx, Wes.

I'm working on Jumpjet for the TI-89 (It's currently a beta), a game based on an old 8-color game for a 286. Once I'm done with this, hopefully around Christmastime. After I am done with that, I will be working on Commander Keen for the TI-89. Email me with your thoughts because I can't be in constant contact with this page.
phoenix3200@juno.com
P.S. I am looking for people willing to convert the original 16x16 color blocks in Commander Keen 1 into grayscale. Also email me if you are interested.

It will be a shell-free program, written entirely in C. It won't be ready for another few months, but anyone who wants to help (especillay play testing) can e-mail the1JLL@aol.com.

Your probably wondering to yourself: "What the heck is Gormball? Sounds like some Japanese delicacy." Well actually it's a variation of hot potato. Yes, hot potato. I have a version 1.0 almost complete. It's only single player right now, with no graphics. I'm going to add graphics, multiplay, and more in future versions. If you have any ideas or comments, email me at LordHam@excite.com or IM me. Lokk for v1.0 in a day or so. PS- Check out the original Gormball at: http://www.neopets.com/

Hey I have decided to (re)create an awesome, addictive game. It can be found at www.zapspot.com and is available for the PC. Download the game and play and email me if you are interested in seeing me finish the game. It will be written in Ti-89 basic and I'm underway with the code at this moment. I need your email's though. I am lazy and need encouragement from you. Also I am in the midst of creating a civilatation type space-colony game. If you are interested email about this game to. Not much will be done until christmas break though, so don't expect to much from me until then. When the game(s) are finished all who emailed me will get a special preview and a month latter I will upload it here on ticalc.org.

I've decided to begin work on an RPG for the TI-89. I know your thinking, "Great! Another RPG for the calculator with boring battles, a lame and shallow plot, and impossible bosses that are the only challenge to the game. This will be different. I'm trying to make a very indepth plot line that is slowly unraveled as the game progresses. It's about an orphaned boy whose family was mudered by vampires during a great war in the kingdom he lives in. I won't reveal much more. I am trying to make the battle engine more interesting than: you hit, he hits, you hit, he hits. I also want to add challenges besides inmpossible bosses that can only be killed if your level 1000000. I do need some help. IF YOU ARE A GOOD DRAWER FOR THE CALCULATOR, PLEASE SEND ME PICS. I am a bad artist. I need pics of the main characters(guy, girl 18-20), monsters(vampires, zombies, werewolfs, and the like!), and map pics. Please send your pics to LordHam@excite.com. If your pic is used, I'll place you in the game credits. Thank you.
