Well I have an 89 and a V200 so its pointless to get another one unless I start collecting. Also I'm not going back to school because I'm in it and the summer and fall semesters run right into each other. But I do plan on getting a new laptop.

LOL...same here. I have been coding on my calculator just about all summer (both the TI 89 and v200) and when I read this poll, I said "You got to be kidding me" so I put no, because I already got everything I need, a TI 89 and a Voyage 200.

There is no better combination than the V200 and the TI-89. Later in life when I have cash to spare I think I might start collecting the calcs like some others on here.

Smart man! If you find a place that pays for general meals and rooming then stay for as long as you can. Too many people don't realize the advantages.

Yeah, I'm serious too. I'm going to make this big animation in ASM and give it to her to run... and I'll have a secret camera filming her reaction... and when I display the movie, I'll have a little corner of the screen displaying what the calculator was showing at the exact time as she was watching it. WOW... that sounds like so much fun! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Wow, you have WAY too much time on your hands. :) In some states, however, it is illegal to videotape people without them knowing it. You should check up on the laws in your state before doing it.

Yeah... but they have some where it's obvious that they don't have permission...

For example, they have ones from Halloween where they would scare the people coming up to the house... they can't tell them first that they're going to scare them and then try it because they wouldn't be scared. And some of these people, they don't even know, so they can't really go back and ask for permission, later. I don't think it's a big deal.

YOu don't need permission before you video tape someone. You just need consent to publically show someone on video tape. C'mon people how do you think Hidden Camera shows stay one the air? Logic, use it.

Girls are more attracted to self confidence and cockiness. (Although school girls will generally also try and follow trends and look 'cool'). So you don't need to be into sports to get anything. Just get some more self confidence and a bit more arrogance. - Trust me!

no, the sad part is (er, at my school, anyway), most girls are hardly computer literate... the ones that programmed "learned" visual basic, then quit. There are about 6 people in my school who are actually interested in programming: me, and the 5 people I have tought...

Ah. Here I should apologise. I don't ever expect people to know when I am being sarcastic. People can never know that (hence the last statement).
When being sarcastic, and when speaking normally I sound pretty much the same.

I have just had an enlightening conversation with a text editor. It wanted to know about my sex life and my childhood.

That is probably so but there is a very minute difference in your voice that is very hard for the untrained to pick up on when your sarcastic. I do the same thing. I was supprised when one of my friends started messing with me because she knew I was being sarcastic. I garrentee that if there were 100 people in that room only on eor two would have known the difference.

Oh no! I can kid people into believing most things. I can talk in the greatest monotones yet. People only know when I am being sarcastic if they know I am contradicting facts or my beliefs. Or if I am patronising them and making it quite clear I am being sarcastic.

I know your type. I'm immediately suspicious shortly after I meet you. I get rid of my suspicion when I understand the premisses for your "trickery". Every person follows a logical pattern of thought, some are complex, others are simple simple.

What logic?
I can base a logic decision on instinct. What scares me is that when i do occasionally do that more than half the time it pulls off. (OKAY, so it isn't really logic but still....)

And, after meeting me, you will never lose your suspicion. <evil>Whahahahaha!</evil>

Well I guess my post didn't go through yestreday so I'll reply again today.

"Instinct" is usually triggered by a one event from a specific group of events, which varies from person to person. Bassed off of the trigger you analize the situation and act apon the analysis in a "appropriate" fashion. Once I determine what the triggers are for a person I just have to see how they interpret the situation and what they do by finding commonalities in actions and reasoning probable causes for the reactions. Thus I've figured you out. One some people it can take a long time, but patience is the key. Sometimes I can't figure out the thought process but I still can predict what a person will do with the appropriate trigger.
