TI removed AMS 2.08 from their website today, no explanation, and it's as if it never existed!

is there any way to get the AMS since TI recalled it?

I have it. If you want it, click my web site, and it will download it directly it is there for the next 48 hours ONLY! It is for the TI-92/Voyage 200. It is 512KB ZIPPED, and 1.17mb unzipped. Just so you know.

Really? That's odd... now I feel kind of lucky. :) Even though most people don't seem to like the new version. I personally don't use ASM on my TI-89; it's too much of a hassle, doesn't work right, and I haven't found any really good no-stub progs (but maybe I'm just not looking hard enough). I personally like the clock feature and all those extra clock-related TI-BASIC commands. I've already got quite a few ideas for programs using this feature.

I hope they didn't take the new version down because it does something bad to the calc, like waste batteries... but I think TI would take the responsibility to tell us instead of having no explanation.

One weird thing about 2.08. I think it's normal, I just think this is weird because 2.05 didn't do this, but if my 89's been off for a while and I turn it on, my screen will turn black or show garbage for half a second before showing turning on as normal. Has anyone noticed this? Interesting.

Oh, duh... the news article says it's been recalled due to problems with the black calc link and TI-Connect... I guess it doesn't apply to me then.

Next time I need to remember that news articles on ticalc.org can be updated. :)

Can anyone tell me where to find AMS 2.08 for my TI89 ?

Hmmm... I dl'ed 2.08, and I can't figure out how the clock is supposed to work. I'm sure you know, but I haven't read it anywhere yet, and when I press f1 (ti89 hw1) under about it says clock but it is faded out, as in, unpressable. How can I get it to work?

You can't get the clock to work on a HW1 Ti-89, it only works on HW2 calcs.

You need to scroll down to the very bottom of the dialog box (it's one of those vertically scrolling ones) and go to the drop-down list box that has Off/On options and turn the clock on by selecting "on." Then everything will be enabled.

Ignore my request for TI89 AMS 2.08 . It seems that TI will send you a nasty email if anyone other than TI offers any of their flash ROM upgrade(s) for any of their calcs .

It seems that AMS 2.08 does not work well if you dont use a USB cable to download it. Can anyone send me AMS 2.08?

So if anyone does know where to download or has
the OS PLEASE SEND IT TO ME - I´ll need it for my exams because of the 2.05 version has a cleanscreen bug after huge tasks and the 2.08 not.
