TI Keyboard: More Information Released
Posted by Eric on 16 June 2002, 08:40 GMT
TI has finally released new information on something that should have come out many years ago, the TI Keyboard. The keyboard, which runs on 3 AAA batteries and contains many nifty features such as compatibility with Microsoft Word, will be available in the fall.

I only have about 30 games, mostly asm but a few basic (you see, I don't download crap...) about 20 levels for mario, dozens of other miscellaneous programs, a 9kb LIST, and the equivilant of 30 16k apps (some of them are 32, 48 or 64k) And I actually have about 750k left. I don't need a *flash rom* expander, I'm probably never going to fill that up. What they need to make is just a normal, plain old boring memory expansion. (On a slightly different note, related to another article, more memory would allow them to compete even better with the PDA market...)

Just thought I would point out, for a certain few people who signed this petition: this isn't the way to get TI to listen to you. If you were to write up a petition properly - using proper grammar - and had serious, respectful signatures, they would have no choice but to listen. On the other hand, what you have done - no offense intended to those involved - cannot possibly be taken seriously. I'm sure TI is well aware that some of us would like to see them continue the 86, and I'm sure they're also aware that some people view them as "dumbasses" and the rest. They just as clearly don't care. So make a proper petition - I'll support it. Just recognize that when you want someone (especially when the entity in question has money) to do you a favor, insulting them is not the way to go about it.
Obviously, this doesn't apply to those of you who signed the petition properly, which fortunately was most of you...
I'd also like to point out that whoever thinks it's funny to post rude messages in others' names - I can't fathom what you gain by it, but don't mind my opinion - you're a coward. If that's what you want to say, there's no need to be ashamed of it. Go ahead and say whatever you want in your own name; I don't care.

why is it that people like you have to say shit like "you guys are just bitches why not get an 89 has alot of memory"?
not everbody has the money or a need to get an 89.
I have an 89, 83+, and 82. When OS 1.13 came out for the 83+, over half the comments were from assholes like you. "The higher the fersion number the better you said." I say, "The higher the version number, the more f***ed up the original was."
As for the 86+ petition, take it seriosly, though I would never take an online petition seriosly, it doesn't help to insult the people you want the help from. Dont bite the hand that feeds you.
Have a nice day.
