TI Keyboard: More Information Released
Posted by Eric on 16 June 2002, 08:40 GMT
TI has finally released new information on something that should have come out many years ago, the TI Keyboard. The keyboard, which runs on 3 AAA batteries and contains many nifty features such as compatibility with Microsoft Word, will be available in the fall.

I thought of this today... We are all used to write SMS messages in mobile phones and tipically we write it very fast so why don't develop a program that enables us to write just like in a regular cell phone. Press #1 1 time for a, twice #1 for b and so on and so on... You can even create a dictionary and use auto-complete for the most typed words... I dont know if anyone had this idea before and if I had spare time I would try to make this application. Anyone interested? Why do we need that ascii keyboard that TI is going to release for the 89? For nothing I believe! :)
