TI Keyboard: More Information Released
Posted by Eric on 16 June 2002, 08:40 GMT
TI has finally released new information on something that should have come out many years ago, the TI Keyboard. The keyboard, which runs on 3 AAA batteries and contains many nifty features such as compatibility with Microsoft Word, will be available in the fall.

Alright guys
this may come as a shock, but...
I'm going to say something semi-related to this topic:
I think that the TI Keyboard is a waste. It has no implementation except for taking notes. And, frankly they created something with a looong time ago... PENCIL AND PAPER!
I do however agree with the creation of a ti86+, because and only because, then we could lock Cullen Sauls in a room with onnly a computer, and not let him out until he creates an aplication consisting of all 6 NES MegaMan games. YAAH! litc!

my 2 cents in the 86+ debate: i own an 83+ and a 92, but i've extensively used every TI calc except the 86, and i personally feel like the key arrangement on the 86 looks like it was done by a trained monkey. however, it is still a really good calc, and i wish i had an 86+.
on to the keyboard: no market. i own 2 handheld, a palm and a casio WinCE device (dont get me started on that. i just wish TI made handhelds). i own keyboards for them, and they aren't even ideal for taking notes. so i say, if you wanna take notes, get a laptop.
anyway...thats my opinion. (and in closing...i'd like to say that the only reason i read every one of these is because i found the Megaman86 guy amusing)

Umm, okay, the whole megaman pile of shit is like a joke, and there are basically two types of jokes.
1. Jokes that are funny, always have been and always will be, or at least that make you laugh at them (like bad puns - most people can't help but to laugh.)
2. Jokes that are funny once. Like writing out and issuing a 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000$ check to a janitor on a moon city. Kudos to you if you get the reference, nothing special if you don't.

His joke was funny once - twice if you're short on brains.
