I agree. Soon TI might give out free source code for every calc's TI-OS, he he. But still, who is going to use a calc emulator with illegal roms when their is graphcalc (marked as my URL, but not my program)?

Strangly enough, TI's official emulator/debugger doesn't require a ROM, and you're allowed to download it even if you don't own a calc

Because you use the emulator to test and debug the programs you program, without having to send it to your calc all the time or to develop for calcs you don't own. Not to do general calculations.
This there is much better programs for. (Like for example the one you linked to)

Cool, yes. Useful, no. Does TI really think we're gonna use our CALCULATORS as our main system for doing spreadsheets? Guys, these things (for all their glitz and glamor) are still JUST CALCULATORS. This isn't something you should consider 'cool'. It's an unimaginable waste of programming skill and time. Nobody would prefer to use CellSheet over Excel or some other PC-based application - period.

I don't know what you're talking about, but I use it quite often even if it's just to make graphs. I finish my graphs in science before most people start the stat plot! This is one of my favorite apps! Well, I guess I do have an SE...

I was talking about Cellsheet, not the calculator itself. Sure, you can do graphs. Go ahead. They're designed for that. But when they invented these things, nobody intended for them to be used to run spreadsheet applications. It's kind of pointless, seeing how you'd have to send the spreadsheet to your computer, convert it, then print it out. I just type it in on my PC (where it has to end up either way) and print it. Calculators are for math and graphing, not business/financial things like this. Get over the "oh how cool is this, I can make spreadsheets on my calculator" phase and realize what a waste this was.

Uhh, helloooo? You can use Cellsheet to make graphs! Things like Bar graphs, Line graphs, Pie Graphs, etc.! Also, they have a thing that converts the calculator spreadsheet to a computer one (I think).

No, I live in the US, and I d/l'ed and installed it for free. Oh, and I like your comment on TI-Fr, so here it is (Kevin made this comment on TI-Fr, I am copying it here):

I might add that this offer might be a ploy from TI to stop TISS development so that they can make money with CellSheet from July 1st on undisturbed.

It is your problem, you did not include any checking to make sure that I'm not European, and nowhere did I see anything that said the offer was valid only to residents of Europe." This one airplane company (I forgot the name) once misplaced a comma (in Europe), and it cost them like $10,000. The other guys said, "Too bad." So I do have a legal precedent here, too.

First of all they arent going to know where your from. Second of all dont tell them. what they dont know wont hurt them (in a sense).

I really hate to think that they're that evil, but remember what "Head Office" taught us that companies exist for profit.

I sincerly encourage the programmers to keep fighting the monopoly, and assure them that we will gladly delete TI's to make room for theirs.

Yeah, TISS looks very promissing, despite it's early beta. I never use APPS coz they just waste calc's mem, way to go TISS!!!

I'm not visiting your website. You seem pretty desperate to attract visitors, and that says something about the content of the site. (this might not all be true, but basically, I hate spam)

By the way this application is great but it takes up too much memory. I think that people wont pay for applications, so TI releases a free application to attempt to interest the TI community. Does it work?
