I'm not sure if many people know this, but it should be helpful if you really need a file you can't find anywhere but on ticalc.org. Google keeps a cache of most of the internet.

wow.. i dind't know that.... that 'snapshot' was a while before ticalc.org closed though... and you can't use the links, you have to type in the URL to get stuff.

This won't get you downloadable files though.

I have the Programmer's CD with a variety of programs. If anyone wants something, just e-mail me with the games/program and the calc and I can check it out for you. All programmers who contributed have their own TICalc.org "archives."

Back to my main point i stated on page 3, the kids that use the calcs are old enough and mature to handle drugwars and relize that its not like real life,and unless little kids are using their older siblings calcs,there wouldnt be a problem,cause they couldnt even turn the damn thing on or relize what the meaning of the game is,as for the porngraphy claims. ive been using ticalc.org for 3 years and i have never seen 1 scrap of porn

well, i think they were 'refer'ing to games like beer hunt, and lotus challenge. Those games are obscene.

Assuming you are referring to Lotus Turbo Challenge for the 83/86, how on earth is that obscene?

Why doesn't ticalc.org just rate their games? They could have E games, T games, and M games (hopefully no A games). That way you know if something is bad, so you won't download it if you don't want to see it. I really really miss the archives, and I haven't seen anything bad for the 82.

You know it's getting bad when you have to start rating calculator programs...

I saw some of Ticalc.org's recall adds. They word it like they blame us (coders, users). The blame clearly lies with TI, or whoever put the stuff on the CD.

I'd say we should boycott TI, but that would be kind of counterproductive;)

ok, first of all, ticalc.org isn't recalling the CD's, TI is. 2nd, ticalc.org made the CD, 3rd, GO TO THE END OF THE POLL DISCUSSION FOR A NEW POLL!!! RIGHT NOW IT IS ON PAGE 8 (ON DEFAULT SETTINGS)

To me, ti just B*TCH slapped us. They should screen have set up a small committee to help screening instead of dumping the blame on us third party programmers and TICALC. Viva la resistance!

No one is blaming programmers, TI is blaming ticalc.org for not properly screening the CD according to their regulations. I don't really see why everyone is getting mad at TI, it's ticalc.org's fault. Except one thing: I think TI should have double checked the CD before sending it out and then finding out about it and getting all mad at ticalc.org

It's not ticalc's fault, it's just a difference in opinions (as always)!
