I made my 83+ LCD royal blue (no, not a dark almost black-blue like two-color pong)! What you do is go in to CalcSys. The key sequence is:
4
6
6
6
6
6
6
6
6
6
6
1
2
3
[CLEAR]
[CLEAR]
[CLEAR]
Now, go into the Detached Solutions Calender APP (not the MirageOS prgm). You will see royal blue lines. I don't know how this works (if anyone from detached solutions would explain this), but it is cool. And don't backup your memory, because it will reset it. :^p

Does anyone here know of a way to completely, I mean completely, screw the flash. This would be sad for the user of the calc. From what I saw in the Flash disassembler for the x3 series of calcs, it seemed that the BOOT codes were in flash as well.
And oh - I never screwed someone's calc. I FIX them. I just want to know if the above is a reason to be extra careful

i dont think anyone has talked about this yet but..
but i found the easiest way to clear someone else's ram without connecting a cable or anything like that is to simply have make a call on your mobile have your mobile near their calculator...
this actually happend to me when i was talkin on the phone and doing homework.. and my ti-83 suddenly said "Mem cleared"
its quick and simple.. if your sneaky, they wont even know it was you >=)
