TI Releases ROM v1.15 for the 83+
Posted by Nick B. on 26 August 2002, 05:52 GMT
OS 1.15 has magically become available for the 83+. We're told that this version adds two features: TI-keyboard support and improved support for the CBL2 on the Silver Edition.
If either of these things apply to you, or you complusively need the latest and greatest thing, visit the TI store and select the appropiate subsection.

Great... new "NEW" OS. It stinks. Like the Windows versions. Win95 is better than XP. Heh, 1.15 is nothing new, adds drivers for the keyboard. BTW one error I have found: SM (Super Mario) 1.2 seems to lave a drawing error. hmmm... looks like we need to update all our ASM games.

Maybe it's not only stability, but also privacy. With every new Service Pack that comes out, you have to allow Windows more and more to go tell everything you're busy with to Big Brother MS.
I wonder how long it will take before everyone will be installing a firewall, not to prevent intruders from getting in, but to prevent Windows from going out...
On a side note, a couple months back, in France, MS got sued for piracy. (Yes the company that fights piracy harder than any other.) Of course they kept this quiet as much as possible. Anyway, to the point, how do you think they obtained the code?
