So, does this mean that any future bugs fixes or improvements that TI thinks up won't be available for users of the TI 83+/83+se or the original 89 because they're obsolete now? I thought when we bought these things, TI said that they would be electronically upgradable, so they would grow with us. Now, that's a shame.

Come on wal-mart! I don't like buying things off the internet, but if I have to, I guess I will.

If I buy one of these, will games work on it? I'm kind of scared now to spend $150 on it 'cause I really would use it for both games and math however two users (Lewk Of Serthic, g_h) have reported problems with it and I don't know if I should get one or not.

I've gotten ExciteBike, Subhunt, and some racing game to work on my TI-89Ti that I just purchased.
However, some Hockey game, Gran Turismo, Command & Conquer, CalcWars, and some other game crashed my calculator. I'm sure that if I keep downloading more games and take the gamble as to whether or not they work, I'll have to reset many times.
The only way I've seen to reset is to take out the batteries, take out the other smaller battery (I think it's Lithium<--I have to use a screwdriver to get to it), then put the 4 AAA batteries back in, turn it on, wait for it to "install", then put the smaller battery back in and put both the screw and back cover in place.
Is there an easier way to reset it?
thanks in advance,

Try to patch them with GhostBuster at http://p080.ezboard.com/ ftichessteamhqfrm10. showMessage? topicID=141.topic (remove the spaces).
