Ive created a menu-based RPG game. Right now it dosnt have a story line, but it'll be in version 2.0 im not really good with graphics, so thats why its menu based. soon ill add experience points, magic, and HP levels, as well as a story line. It uses the Matrices which basically act as arreys, allowing yo to save the game and be able to run other programs without losing save data. I realize that this, however, opens it up for hacking(which kind of stinks).
BTW my game is called Battle.

Hello,
If you've played my last text game for the TI-83 (Monday), you're probably eagerly awaiting my next release (or so I'd like to believe). I began work on it earlier this week.
It takes place in a casino, and you have found yourself deeply in debt to a loan shark who has loaned you a sizeable amount. You've procrastinated for months and months, and you have to pay him back... by midnight tonight! You start with no money at all, and you must acquire all of it in only a few hours, by gambling, stealing, and other interesting and homerous means.
So, I hope you'll take interest in my latest project. If you have any at all, please e-mail me and let me know. Any and all encouragement is welcome.

Death Rally replica

I'm in the planning phase of making a new 83 game resembling the good old Death Rally. I have already prepared a set of fast graphics routines (both bitmap and vector graphics), but I still don't have a concept on how to implement AI.
I've been thinking of an effective way to store a lot of large tracks, but it seems I have to make a painful choice between size and speed, as I will probably end up decompressing the tracks prior to playing.
If you have some constructive ideas, don't hesitate to reply.

Ive been programming in ti83 basic for a while. But i never planned on putting one of my games on the net. Ive been working on an Arpg called "Attack Man 4". Sounds corny huh? But its bound to be my "final text rpg opus" It will be kind of big for basic. I will have many games such as craps and "guess my rap" in which you guess which artist rapped these lyrics...
Anyways hope you guys like it when it comes out. My game was largely influenced humor wise by conkers bad fur day. oh and i like "quotations" if you dont well "screw you".

AEXLive

Hi, I'm programming in TI-BASIC for a year now, and I am now writing AEXLive. It's the sequel of all my previous AEX-games. AEX is like a Wall-Street trader (I don't really kno how to explain), but this time it's real time! You can actually see a line moving up- and downwards, and buy/sell shares. In AEXLive there's a possibility to play multiplayer, and very smooth! There's also a list of hiscores and different degrees of toughness (easy, normal hard I mean..) I think it will be finished this month.

Im am currently working on a program called Rush Hour. The game is based on a board game. The game is a puzzle like game. The goal in the game is to escape from the traffic jam. There is only one exit. You must shift the blocking cars and trucks out of your way until you the path is cleared to make your escape. This game is designed to challenge your sequential-thinking skills.
There are five levels in the game. If I have enough memory left I will make more. Level 1 is the easiest then as u get to level 5 they get harder and harder. There are blocking cars and blocking trucks. They are the vehicals that you need to move out of your way for your escape. Your car is the fancy looking car. You can only move the vehicals forwards and backwards in the direction that they are pointing.
I will keep you updated on my progress. and if you have any questions feel free to ask or email me at:

Myst

Hey guys. I'm currently working basic version of the classic adventure/strategy game, Myst. For right now, it will be text-driven, but in the future, i hope to port it to ASM, and have graphics. One problem. I'm only a newbie programmer, one who only knows basic.
But this newbie has a great idea. Would anyone who is not working on a project currently (or is...) like to help me make this? I could provide the text parts and
game elements, and one of you could make graphics and program. See, if I made it, it'd be huge, and take up a lot of memory. Thanks For reading this, and please contact me at:

Well, it's just an easy kind of 'track and field' idea, just push one button as fast as possible. It now supports up to 3 computer players and up to 30 difficulty levels. It's a very stupid game, hehe, but still very addicting...
I am currently working on a version with better performance, since the TI-83 got problems with handling it, hehe ;), also am I working on a 'multiplayer version'...
Mail me for comments, questions or hints.
The Beta version shall probaply be uploaded soon, hehe, when my cable works (-:

i'm writing a game where you get to kill those &$*#*%&# pokemon. I still have to decide whether it will be a beat-em-up or a 2d sidescrolling platform game.
I thought of 3 possible names, i'd like to hear which you like best: PokeMayhem, PokeMassacre, PokeMurder

Hi everyone. I'm making Street Fighter 2 Rainbow Edition for the 83. It's my first asm program ever (except for hello world little programs...) but it's getting very good. Take a look, the address to get it is my website. So far there's Ryu fully functional, even with fireballs, dragon punches and hurricane kicks. All special moves can be performed on air (this is why it's called Rainbow Edition, after the arcade hacked version). Keys: arrows, 2nd (punch), Alpha (kick), Clear or Mode exits the game.
It's for ION, so be sure to have ION installed. Later it will be 2-player via a link cable. 83+ version doesn't work for now, but it will work when the final version is ready.

Star Trek T.O.S.

I have just finished a Star Trek program based on the original ones that ran on line printers way back in the 70's. (Yes I was there)
The object of the game is to go around the Galaxy in your Enterprise and kill all the Klingons before you run out of time or get killed yourself. A typical game takes 20-40 mins to play, and you can break the program do some normal calculator operations, or turn it off and continue later, although running some other program might mess up the variables.
This is different to all the other Star Trek programs I have seen for the TI-83. It'll run on a TI-83 or TI-83+. There are 15 commands to keep you challenged, and instructions are included if you want to print that out to help you the first few games. I started converting it for the TI-83 back in Nov 2001, and I've got a few volunteer Beta testers just checking out the last update. I hope to place it here in a couple of weeks if there are no more bugs found.
The screen shot is a typical Short Range Sensor scan during game play. What you see on this screen is 1 Enterprise in the middle, 2 Klingons under that and some Stars just to make navigation an obstacle. There is also Starbases spread around which you use to re-fuel your ship. You have two weapons: Torpedoes and Phasers, and the random damage in the game keeps you on your toes.
The game is written totally in Basic, so it's a tiny bit slow for some parts, but as it's not an RPG that shouldn't matter.
enjoy,
Mark^2gs
