It is so much easier to have the page to explore the archives than FTP. I just like the GUI better.

Yeah, you're right, I also liked to download the programs via http, but if possible, it would be cool if the guys at ticalc.org would make it possible to decide faster, which program is worth the download and which is simply trash!
I know its possible to get the information by clicking on the extra info, but after all, it's too fussily. If you look at calc.org for example, they have a completely different system in their archive. There you can quickly decide, what you want and what you dont want...
So why don't you take this chance to get a new concept into your archive along with that downtime?
Something like rating or so would be the first step. Like this you can also find out what programs the community like and what programs are trash.
