I have the really cool chess game on my ti89, Tichess. Someone saw it, liked it, and asked me to put it on his casio that he got. I could hardly keep a straight face, but then he said, "Its got 4K... i assume that's enough?" I laughed at him so hard i almost passed out. after i explained that TIs were not even realatively compaitble with casio's, he moved in for the kill... he said, "Well, at least i didn't waste money on it... ifound it lying around out back behind the home ec building. I swear i had to fight to get air after that... Anyway, my point is that TI has done pretty goot with there calcs, all things considered (even ams v2.03 and hw2)

Hello People!

I feel sorry for those people that took the time to get accounts at ticalc.org, and spent all this time looking at this kind of stuff, yet still don't have a CALCULATOR! Would someone please explain that kind of logic to me?

Laura

When I bought my TI-85 back in 1993, I thought I would never ever need another calculator. I thought the 85 was the most superior calculator (in 93, it was). Near the end of 1995, a co-worker of mine got to borrow 2 TI-92's, and I have not seen a superior calculator since, with the exception of the plus modification. It would be hard to top it. If TI did, it would resemble one of those palmtops with modem and color monitor.

Actually it would resemble an 86 with different color keys and the name TI-89 in the upper righthand corner.

maybe not a dream. Since motorola 68000 is used by Sega Genesis, system16 and Callus arcade machines, someone can port Dune2. obviously it's not the same as starcraft....

yes, the problem was the lack of mem. Street Fighter 2 uses 2 Motorola 68000 12Mhz,(one for playing the sounds). And this arcade machine has more than 16Mb of mem.(I don't know what amount of ram and rom, but I know it uses 16mb)

You know, she said, "I'm not this stupid" at the end of her message. Maybe she was referring to that spelling, along with, like, all the likes?

Actually no, I was just expressing my reservations, and pointing out the patent obsurdity of such stereotypes. Some of the ramifications are the common held belief that all blondes are "loose" and "dumb". While this may be true in a certain set of blondes, with me the antithesis is true, I do not fancy myself as a doorknob (everybody gets a turn), or a public library (open to the public). I positive with metaphysical certitude that there is also a large number of blondes that would agree with me. I would like to stress that belief that blondes are of substandard intellegence is a falsehood and a fallacy at best.

They do for me! My former math teacher from 7th grade had this old basic calculator called the TI 1370 or something. Seems like the highest numbered aren't always the best...

Actually the higher number TI calculators are most often the printing calcs.
