I know a lot of girls that know about calculators. Guys aren't the only ones that use them.

I was pretty sure not many females used this site, since all of them that I know don't even know how to delete stuff off of their calculator.

So? Chicane's the only other _guy_ I know who knows how to even delete things. I don't think we constitute a significant percentage of the planet's population.

I'll agree with you there, I have an 85 and an 82 and I know this other girl who has an 89 and doesn't know the first thing about how to use it. I keep trying to get her to give it to me. It's an insult that all that technology should go to someone who doesn't use it.

I really have to agree with you. I'm working on this math teacher of mine that was <i>given</i> a 92+ by my school. I don't think he's going to let me have it though. He doesn't even know how to delete left over files!!

92+!! I would kill for a 92+!!! It should be a crime for people to own cool calculators and not know how to use them!

I wouldn't, as my math teacher is a dick and doesn't let us use anything better than a goddamn 83. My 89 sits on my lap during tests though, so fuck him.

What do you mean, you *would* kill for a 92+? Just go out to Office Max, shoot all the cashiers, and take the calc. I've done this on several occasions. Strangely, I'm only wanted for theft.

I'll agree with that. I think you should also be required to read the manual. I just bought an 89 and I spent 8 hours reading the manual. People who don't like to read the manuals shouldn't own calculators. I know a girl who wants me to show her how to use her TI-35X because she doesn't want to read the manual. I mean how big is that manual? A millimeter? If you can't read that, you have no business owning any kind of TI graphing calculator. Because whoever wrote those manuals wrote more books than Mellville, Hawthorne, Dickens, and Orwell combined. I also have to admit that reading them is more entertaining than a Thoreau novel, like Walden. But anyway, I can't stand people who don't know the power of their calculator because their too lazy to read the darn instruction manual. That's why they include them with the calculators right?!?!

my browser locked up, so i went back and sent it again. unbeknownsed to me, it sent it both times, eventhough it locked up both times. i sent it three times because of browser lock-ups.

yet another instance of theists ganging up on atheists. it happens every day. There is nothing wrong with theists, it is just that very few of you (look at this situation) will let any atheist have their own belief system. ChurchOfEngland is a pretty cool religion though.

i got one for 70+80 dollars... i dont know how much that is... where did my calculator go!!!!!!

I also know a kid who was going to get a TI-89 but I finally managed knock it into his head that no one else in the school owns an 89 (we all own 83 Pluses because that's all we can afford) so it wouldn't really do him much good if he had one. And he hardly knows the first thing about the 83+ (in my "professional" opinion) much less the 89. So I'm trying to "educate" him...

Same here. I know these two people - one's the president of my programming "company", the other is a jock and a jerk. The wierd thing is, the first guy has a plain 89 and the second has an 89Ti, but doesn't even program for it! (There's also a dude who has an 84 Silver, but the only thing he's ever programmed for it is a Sierpenski Triangle program he copied out of our math book.)
