You're probably thinking that I'm siding with Kerm, and you know what, you'd be right. Personnally, I don't agree with hyping a program for months and then not delivering, but most of you (especially PolarDPres and lord_nightrose) have been extremely harsh towards Kerm. Your flames against him were completely uncalled for. Furthermore, accusing him of being the frauds was also uncalled for. You have absolutely no evidence that he really is the person behind the frauds. Don't you think that Kerm could better defend himself using his own handle rather than one copied off someone else's?

You're also accuisng him of putting up fake a fake program/hardware schematic. But as garyanddepleatedteamup said, the hub is perfectly fine and will work as long as it has the proper drivers. As for the driver, all you guys did was look at the source ... you didn't actually test it. If you really want to know if it works, actually test it or ask someone like Michael Vincent to examine the code to see if it is valid, don't just rely on yourselves. And finally, your flames are not exactly contributing to Ticalc's message boards. Your flames would make any programmer feel discouraged and want to give up, not just Kerm. And the entire community would suffer as a result. How would you like it if you were in Kerm's place? I'm pretty sure you wouldn't enjoy it much ... And by flaming Kerm, you're making yourself just as bad as the frauds. It's fine if you don't agree with Kerm, but don't flame him incessantly. It really isn't necessary.

(Note: I used 'you', not to pick on PolarDPres, but because using 'you all' is too clumsy and akward)

The problem with his driver is that he expects to be able to just plug a mouse in and have it communicate 100% properly with a TI calculator. It's not gonna happen.

I don't know about that 100% part ... I don't think that Kerm is so naive as to believe that the mouse driver will work PERFECTLY.
Also, it seems like you've changed your mind about the problem about the driver. I seem to recall you continually claiming that it wouldn't compile ...

I have not inspected the driver, nor do I care to. However, it is possible. At Radical Software we connected a PS/2 keyboard to the calculator directly. I'd post a link, but the server is down at the moment.

Oh, I never said that you couldn't hook the hardware up. I just said you can't hook it up and expect it to do exactly what you want it to without knowing exactly how data is sent and received by the hardware. Kerm's source for the driver is a bit lacking in the way of actual transmission code. Yes, it will receive data from a mouse, but he expects to be able to have the program inherently know (without him coding it in) what the signal for the buttons, movement, etc. are represented by.

No, I swear, honestly, I only have 2 accounts, and one I don't even use. To be specific, they are no_one_2000 (the one I don't use) and no_one_2000_. I forgot the password for no_one_2000, so I use this one. Anyway, I got the idea of g33z by reading through here, never even looked to see who it was. I always like subsituting letters with numbers to make it kind of like 13375p34|<. Really, after the whole "fraud thing", I have no interest in making people believe I'm someone else.

Advice to Kerm: How about you leave for about a month, let everybody coooooool down, then come back (maybe with a new handle) and everyone will like you again. (maybe) I dunno, it's just a suggestion.

No, I think (maybe) eventually everyone (once they see and test it) except for PolarDPres, and nightrose will start to agree with Kerm. He hasn't done anything wrong except for making a couple of mistakes, and you don't have to send all these nonsense posts to him.
