Virtual TI breaks quarter mil
Posted by Magnus on 15 September 2002, 10:25 GMT
Virtual TI, our top downloaded program of all time, has broken through a quarter of a million downloads! At the statistics count last night, it ended up at 250,009 downloads. A big congratulations to the author Rusty Wagner - keep up the good work! Footnote: The second placed program, W32Tran8x, has yet to reach 100,000. For full statistics, check our download statistics.

Almost all the major companies release mac compatible software, so we have about 3,000 (Apple registered, so there are really many more) programs already for OS X, and its only a year and a half old, not bad all things considered. Windows has alot more software, but most of the stuff are small programs that no one needs, no jokes about noone please. Anything good is released for mac, so, I like it. After all, how much software do you need? We have sites like resexcellence and MacintoshOS.com to find stuff for us. I love my Mac! Office and Photoshop for mac have more features, and are considered easier to use than their windows counterparts, by their own companies! Anyways, how could I live without iTunes?

You ticalc.org staff guys really need to get some different people updating the file archives. It's been a week and a half. I'm sure there are lots of people who would gladly do this (like me), and update it regularly (like once ever two days or better).
