Interesting problem;
I tried installing Doors on my hw2 calculator with ams 1.05... address error. I upgraded to AMS 2.0.. black bar across the top half of the main ti-menu, busy displayed, saying the instalation was succesful; and completely locked up. Next thing that happens is I take a battery out to reset the memory to get it working again.

Your not the only one, I have the exact same problem. Nothing works for Hardware 2.00.

I've never had that problem before, works fine for me, sure you did it all right?

What is the difference between Doors and Doors Explorer?

They have nothing to do ;) DoorsOs is the one that will let other proggies use libraries, DoorsExplorer is the nice program that pops up when you press "shift-ON", and that lets you perform various file operations.

Why DoorsOS doesn't hava a crash-protection like LexOS? BTW: has anybody tried LexOS on AMS2.03?

The answer if LexOS works with AMS 2.03 is yes and no. It was the first kernel that ever ran with AMS 2.03 but it does not seem to be quite compatible with other kernels when running on an AMS 2.03 machine. It runs all of my test programs perfectly but none of the other AMS 2.03 programs out there. My guess is that DoorsOS patches the programs somehow.

It runs all Your test programs? Do You mean the old ASM-programs that were not ported to DoorsOSv0.92?

I mean the Plusshell demo programs that I have modified so that they are compatible with AMS 2.03 . I also think I have found the cause of LexOS not working. It is because DoorsOS has introduced new RAM addresses that are not implemented in LexOS yet.

Really? DoorsOS doesn't work with the statistical flashapp? It worked fine for me. I have a HW 1 calc with AMS 2.03 and everything's okay here. I just hope that it will work for the Cabri Geometry, which I might get soon.

I have 2.03 with the Cabri APP, and it works beautifully.

When ever I Download Doorsos2 and install it it freezes up.

I just downloaded TextRider for my HW1 ASM 2.03 and no matter how I try to run it, it gives me errors and crashes my calculator. DoorsOS II says that it is compatible with TextRider so I don't know what the problem is. I used Sview before I upgraded and now it doesn't work either. I also tried TextView but that doesn't work either. Are there any good text viewers for the that wont crash my calculator? Please e-mail me if you can help.

PPPPLLLLEEEAAASSSEEEE HELP ME!

I am a stupid newbie at all this and I think i just screwed up big time. Everything was working just fine and dandy with AMS 1.00 until i upgraded to AMS 2.03. I wnat to go back cuz nothing works except the new version of Doors. Unfortunately, I didnt back up my calc. Is there anything I can do to go back to AMS 1.00? Or should I just leave it and be patient? How long is it going to take for everything to be AMS 2.03 compatible? How do I figure out what hardware version i own, or should it be already evident? AAAAAHHHH! All I wanted was a little Mario!

Yes, e-mail TI for the ROM for ams v1.00 and say because you upgraded to v2.03 and want to go back since it doesn't work right.

Hello again... appreciate the link but unfortunately it dosent work b/c I have a black link cable. I assume thats why at least. So now my only recourse is to email TI? I tried using the unzipped file the program created in the temp windows folder but it dosent work with regular graphlink, i mean it wont install. Im going to try 3rd party link software next but otherwise i dunno what im going to do.
