Just around two years (in fact, since before I even *got* a TI calculator) and I must say, I'm really impressed with the job the staff has been doing. Keep up the good work; we all appreciate it!

I was looking for some basic games to type in, and just when I was giving up on the search engine, I read this email newsletter, Lockergnome, and saw a link! I got my calc (83+) in 2000, for math 10, while I was in grade 9.

I think I first visited the site in early december b/c I needed a base converter and someone gave me a direct link to the 83+ BASIC math programs site. when I got my 86 just after christmas I maneuvered around the site and started coming frequently.

I've been a regular here for about 3 years. Ever since I got my first 83+ and my friend informed me that games were possible. I then found this place in a search engine. Now I have 2 SE's and I have no idea where my 85 went...
I'm still debating between buying an 89 or an HP-49G...

Oh, about a year. I've had my calculator for about 3 years now. I didn't have a link unitl 1 year ago, and I was really new. All I knew was basic. I had no clue was ASM was. I tried to run asm programs without a shell a bunch of times, until I downloaded Ash, waited about 3 months, and tried it out. (I had to backup my calculator, and I was afraid it wouldn't work) Since then, I've been going here daily hoping for First Comments and Parades.

Same here; When I found ticalc (via search engine (via "games for 83"(which wasn't high in the list, it was near the third or fourth page(why do I remember? I don't know(this is a lot of parentheses))))) I didn't know anything about it. I had graphlink version like 0.04 (I still have it, along with three other CDs) or something really low, and I couldn't send groups. eventually I figured out how to ungroup them (on accident) and, in the very beginning, thought that I could only send .83p files.
The first games for my calculator (an 82) were a game called HicQuest, one called BoxQuest, and one called f***Quest (a kid on my bus made all of them, and his HicQuest was far better than any others that people have made), then Nibbles, then the game of life (does anyone have that one still?), then...
And to think, now I am learning ASM and I want to become a computer programmer; all because of one little caclulator, which led to another, which led to another, which led to another, which led to another. (82->83->83plus->83+SE->89). Oh, just one more thing: Because everyone in my school saw my calculator, I hooked almost my entire school on them. Now, they are going back to being somewhat unpopular, bet many people still have them.
Sorry for wastin' your time:(
