Nostub for HW1 _and_ HW2 calcs is better though. This helps make TI-GCC more popular, i.m.h.o., since it can make nostub programs that work on all TI-89s and TI-92s.

No offense but your website is _really_ noisy. I recommend turning off the sound on it. Lots of people have music in the background and unnecessary sound causes me to auto-close any website on sight.

I don't really have anything to do with maintaining the site. You should tell that to XLC12RF or to Flagg.

And it sometimes interferes with my punk rock already playing, so when it finishes loading graphically, I just click the stop button.

Nostub is much better. I have to agree as well. However, Doorsos works with AMS 2.05 just fine if you use HW2patch for AMS 2.05...

Doorsos with a HW2 patch on an AMS 2.05 will work for about 3 minutes, and then you're popping batteries out.

Universal OS 1.30 is exactly like doors except for the fact that you can get grayscale on HW2 calcs.

NoStub is would be slower for games like SMQ though.

Uni-OS + TICT Explorer is the ultimate combo. I used to like DoorsOS but it's too buggy.

I tried that today and the only reason i didn't like it was because you can't zip and unzip files. I perfer UniOS and Nostub Explorer v1.1 by Flavien Racine

Personally, I prefer preos (which is smallest i like best) and tictex. preos, is a fairly decent kernel/ works w/ tictex and it has more choice (i hate the built-in libraries of Unios, no 7 grays)

DoorsOs works on my AMS 2.05 calc, just not if I run HW2Patch (that crashes my calc)

I'm starting to think that... well, naw... I'm just confused. Doorsos works fine for some, not for others. For some, HW2patch prevents freezes, for others it crashes the calc. And this from people who all have AMS 2.05 and HW2... It might be the program, not Doors, or the user, or any combination at given time during a certain type of event in the program... Does anyone in the world really know what actually causes the problems?

It's funny how so many ppl just start talking about the 89 without even saying they're talking about it. Although that's fine with me, because the 89 is the only calc worth talking about. :-)
