Every time I log on its email first then ticalc.org
then I refresh ticalc.org to see if they posted a news article since I arrived.
then I refresh again.
I actually only "visit" once, I just refresh repeatedly. :)

Hey that's what I do! Check my two or three e-mail accounts, go to ticalc.org - turn off the computer - you guys are WAY past portal status. Somewhere between obsession and cult status. Congratulations!...I think

I totally agree with you guys.
Perhaps we should start a religion inwitch ticalc.org would be the supreme lord and the calculators would be some kind of guru's.

Ticalc.org - All the way

I can see cult status, but some of you guys are taking it just a little too far... so chill. This isn't a government based on calculators, this is a dealership of a foreign substance that we all crave. Nick and the gang are just our dealers. I think I've abused the games for long enough - how about some trigonometry? in ........ assembly!! Talk about euphoria, man.

(Nick, remind me to slap my wrist later.)

You thought I REALLY wanted to be Pope of Programming? I'm sure that position would get ALL KINDS of chicks! On the other hand, the intellectual appeal of a technology junkie should be sexy too.

(short aside: how many women say they like intellectual men and actually mean it? I'd like to know if there are many that actually do [I know at least 3 like this])

Maybe you should upgrade to a 92+.

I actually met a girl from a neighboring town who saw my 92 and asked me how it "worked". I found out she was a BIG math geek and a webmaster for her school...

she had a boyfriend
so I'm still all alone

One of the things everyone needs - *NEEDS* - to realize here is that I'm NOT a cult leader.

I am a person.
I go to high school. I take AP tests. I brush my teeth every day, take my daily shower, eat my Frosted Flakes(TM), and I go out with friends on the weekends.

And I post news on ticalc.org.

One of these days I won't be posting news at ticalc.org (read: I won't be working here) and I bet that we'll lose a ton of readers just because your wackymeaningless figurehead is gone.

Guess what? It's happened before and it'll happen again. I don't intend to work here forever. I don't think anyone who DOES work here intends to, either.

I'll still have attachments to ticalc.org, but things certainly won't be like they are now.
*sigh*

Just a vent, everyone.

Why should we tell you anything?! You are leaving us! You make us feel bad! You are the blue monkey overlord! You don't deserve to have a dignified answer! In fact, you don't deserve a coherant answer! so blah you!

Well, Nick will probably be doing something like web design for a living and won't have time for TICalc.Org, after all, I won't be on my web site after I get out of college, and neither will any of the other computer/calculator geeks out there.

No, I'll have college.
First things first.

And I don't know if I'll be doing web design. I'm more a writer than a coder/artist (nickd.org should have proven that if anything).

If you want an honest opinion on nickd.org...I think it is/was personally a waste of time. It seems like it has no point to it (which I think you state somewhere on the site). And exactly how much content is on nickd.org?!?! I don't think I have gone through it all, yet! I must say, it is truly a large amount of space (not necessarily a waste--because whatever floats-your-boat, rocks-your-craddle, etc., then I am glad for you)! Correct? Maybe not...but, seriously, what profession are you leaning toward?

It's fun being the only person in your school with a graph-link. All the teachers hate me because I am the one responsible for the plague of ZTetris that has corrupted their math classes. Mwuhahahaha!

P.S. Here's my process:
E-mail, then ticalc.org, then the CoC standings (www.2am.com/coc I think), then ticalc.org, then it's time to do my HW (read: playing Insane Game and Uncle Worm).
