ticalc.org doesn't need a forum. It just wouldn't suit it. Rather, more areas that encourage users to post would be better. Instead of a free-for-all forum.

All calculator models should be listed on the main page, perhaps by mini-image and below the menu bar where they can lead to each calc's individual page. On each page statistics about that section of the archive could be displayed and monthly features of APP/ASM/Basic could be posted. At the moment there's one location for such Features and News. Perhaps each calc deserves it's own section?

Some calcs might not be as popular, but you get that. This method might cause a bit of segregation with calculator bias users that only use one type of calc, but it's better than just "plonking" everything in one spot. You could even have File Archive updates displayed in these pages!

We do, however, need better support for ASCII art. Yes, I know my protest sign will come out wrong.

I will second that by all means. No ticalc.org forum! There are too many out there!

Even though a forum would be great, I voted for 'Other' and here's why:
I think that there's some work to be done around how people log in. A little more convenience, please! I remember one time I didn't log in for a while, and I was unaware that I had to reactivate my account (Maybe send this by email!). I tried to vote on a poll, it told me to log in, then it said I had to reactivate my account, then I had to go to another web page to get an email to reactivate my account, then had to log into my email to finally reactivate it! For a poll! Also maybe include a 'Keep me logged in' function so I don't have to keep logging in every time I go to the website!

Well, you could fix the buttons. The "Vote" and "Results" buttons are cockeyed in Safari, and always have been. I refuse to use Firefox extensively because the widgets look windowsy.
