Either Run Ghostbusters with Sumo Wrestling or install the HW3 Patch on your calculator.

If it still locks up use the 4-finger salute and reset it, hold down the following keys at once in this order: 2nd, Left Arrow, Right Arrow, On - This will reboot your calculator but I warn it will also Clear you RAM :)

Hmmm, you shouldn't have to run Ghostbuster because it uses a launcher which is compatible with the Titanium. The fact that it gets to the "Calculating sprites" part before freezing indicates that it's probably not a launcher problem.

Thank you very much for the bug report. I will look into it right away. And btw, there's nothing at all to be sorry about :)

What about rebuilding the program with current TIGCC, which will give you a current launcher? :-)

I just thought that I would let you know that Sumo Wrestling works fine on my titanium. I used to use the launcher that came with it and it worked fine. Now I use superstart (whatever the current version is) and it also works fine. I have HW3 patch installed and Kerno.

I have the same problem on my Titanium when I play Space Dementia II, it displays, "Address Error," and I have to take out all the batteries, includign the backup battery, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Is this because Titaniums and regular 89s have different adresses?

On my TI-89 Titanium, I don't have enough RAM to play Sumo, even after I just reset the entire calculator and achived Sumo. But I played it on VTI perfectly.

Why wouldn't we just have 1 round for the 68k calcs, all the options are from the last poll anyways :S

Except they're not. 4 Are from the first 68k survey, and 4 are from last week's. And just about every one that was a choice in the 2 semifinals was worthy of the honor, except 1 or 2 IMO, and those didn't make it to the final anyway... and some I haven't played, but they all pretty much looked good.

Good luck to all the great authors!

Happy Holidays all.

Well, first off, I know I'm a little early, but too bad. I'm leaving town to visit family in a few days and they have dial-up (which never seems to work well anyway, even for dialup), so I probaly won't be on this site at all until I get back.

And as for the Happy Holidays comment, I wanted to cover all bases, not wanting to offend anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas or anything. I thought I could cover all bases that way:D

Well I'm an atheist, but I think anyone who's offended by a well-meant greeting of "Happy Holidays" or "Merry Christmas" takes offense way too easily, even if they're not Christian. :-)

And in addition to that, the term Happy Holidays originated from "Happy Holy Days" so...it's still religious...and I totally agree that people shouldn't be offended by a Merry Christmas comment...we're just trying to be friendly....I read an email once about people wanting the ten commandments taken out of a school...went sorta like this:
There was a school board meeting and someone spoke up saying that it should be taken down because it is a violation of the constitution. Later in the year, that same person spoke up saying that the children at the school aren't moral anymore. Someone replied that, "maybe a sign should be put up saying, thou shalt not kill and steal, etc..." It was really interesting in my opinion and made me wonder really what the big deal is about them in some schools anyway...more than half of them are things that most people teach their children even if they don't believe in God (or a god for that matter)...

The word jeez originated from Jesus but I don't take His name in vain when saying jeez. And people still say holy s***, most of the time not realizing it has "holy" in it. And separation between church and state is meant to prevent the establishment of a state religion... never said anything about local towns or schools. IMO, if people can't stand even looking at a reference to religion at their school, they should simply move their child to another school. All the atheists should just move to their own little towns, like the amish folk did, and live their life out happily without being offended by something as small as "Bless You" after a sneeze.

Last time I checked, New Year's Eve/Day is a secular holiday.
