No, sorry. Same situation as every summer. But I will do my part and make sure everything I upload is well documented and screenshotted.

I add screenshots to a decent number of my progs too, but for some reason some of them don't show up, even on one prog that was uploaded last summer...

While I probably won't be able to throw in as much time as the previous two years (I've already planned about four weeks for other stuff), I would sure like to help as much as I can. Just send me a mail Morgan, you haven't lost my address, have you? ;)

There wouldn't be so many things to screenshot if some of the archived crap was deleted. We need a "votes for deletion" section on the webpage. Then, the majority opinion could be used to delete crap like "Guess my #" or "hello world in asm (work in progress)

Yes!!!!
If "guess the number" in file.description():
[tab]delete(file)
That's how things should work around here. :^)

No, really, there needs to be a way that active members can vote to delete crap. That way, crap would be nominated, processed, voted on, cleaned up. It works on wikipedia, why can't it work here

Because of the (rather slim, I admit) chance there is a useful piece of code in a guess-the-number game. For instance, it might have used the Output() command in a non-standard way that is actually pretty nifty.
Just because the die-hard coders are not impressed by some piece of code doesn't mean it won't be a useful starting point for some newby who's trying to learn (and that seems to me like something we should support).

Or instead, they should make a "BASIC source code" directory.

The problem with a new directory is that the new directory would get overflowed with crap, and then there would be no point really...

that would be the point. to have all the crap put there instead of the places people actually look

When I was pushing for the rating system to be installed, it was my intention that once after many of the programs had been rated, like nearly all of them, that the ones with absolutely terrible ratings would be removed after I reviewed them, however NOBODY IS RATING FILES!!!

I rate files and the ratings don't show up. Write reviews for them too and the same

Ratings will only show up when a file has been rated 4 times. Reviews can be rejected without notice if they are not of high enough quality or contain enough evidence to support your claims. Currently there is a huge pile of pending reviews as they are looking for an additional reviews editor I believe.

I know, it's really annoying. I rate every file I try, but I've got one program that usually gets >20 downloads every week, BUT NO FREAKIN' RATINGS!!!
