I don't use any on mine. It gets used when I feel like programing something that will allow me to take a break from my other projects...

I used to use a TI-82...It was my sister's, I borrowed it from her...it's what got me interested in TIs.
I only put a shell on it once, long ago...I put Ash on it so I could run a rom dumper (which, of course, didn't really work, but anyhow.)
Now I've got an 89...but those were the days.

I don't use an 82, but I marked Crash because I once put it on somebody's calculator who paid me to put games on it (hope that acts as a nice transition...)

Do you mean "What's a TI-82?" or "I can't believe this poll is about the TI-82?" The first is just SAD... but the second is more understandable.
Yeah, there are a _bunch_ of new models that beat the 82 in many ways, but that doesn't mean the TI-82 is bad or anything. Surprisingly enough, I get by rather well with only 28K of RAM and CrASH on my 82. It's oldschool. ;-) But if you're looking about major positives to the TI-82: It's MUCH cheaper than, say, the TI-84+SE. It's incredibly easy to use (or at least, I think so). Any program you make on the TI-82 can be easily transfered to the 83, 83+, 83+SE, 84+, or 84+SE (BASIC, not ASM). The TI-82 z80 asm, in MY opinion is cooler than the TI-83/+ z80. (I don't know why, but I like it more... however, most people disagree with that) Nobody will want to steal it from you, since you can get it off eBay for like... five bucks. :-P
So, even though it doesn't have flash/archive, string variables, pretty print, more options, etc... some people still use 'em quite regularly and DO use a shell (hopefully, CrASH ;-)).
w00t! for the TI-82.

Who voted other? What other shell is there? They mentioned all the ones I know of...
Btw, look at the statistics. Only about 13 people use a TI-82. :(
I still love playing those classic z80 games on my 82. If there's anybody who's currently taking Biology--trust me... playing Penguins 82 in the middle of Biology is the best. ;-)
