What about another option: "I am still holding out for the V400." Because that is what I am soooooooo doing.

I'm going into geometry and algebra II this year, so I figured it was time to get a calc and I chose the 84+SE because it came preloaded with tons of apps, and I wanted to link to my computer without paying for a connectivity kit.

It's working out really well for me; in addition to the standard graphing functions I have loads of fun games so I'll never be bored in class again. And I don't think any calculator is complete without notefolio, I use that all the time to type up docs the night before and use them as quick study tools before tests/quizzes etc. Five stars

I recently got a ti-89 titanium and getting an 83+ or a 89. I like the old style calcs (1997)
