It's because we have no lives, being programmers.

"We have no lives, being programmers."
Isnt that like saying: I have no life. My life is programming. Are you saying that programming is nothing?! :)
Hmm, what would happen if all programmers simultaneously went on strike? How many nuclear wars would instantly erupt, airports would shut down within an hour, and living conditions of the average middle-class person would drop 150% or more? Think of what influence we have on the world. Especially us teens, what are adults trying to do to educate our generation in the ways of programming, when in 50 years, we will /c o m p l e t e l y/ control the earth's technological progress?

I didn't mean that programming was nothing....I meant that some of us have *almost* no lives outside of programming.

Well let's see... I have a very busy life actually. I have a lot of school work to do, I need to walk the dog, i need to buy my stepbrother a gift for his birthday, I've been invited to several new year's parties, I might want to hang out with my friends, maybe i could see a movie, I'v been eager to start a bon fire of "Seabiscuit" DVD's and VHS's, I really should answer the phone right now, In desperately need to fix my palm pilot software before school starts, i really need to Debug my computer, I need to clean my room, I should probably say goodnight to my mom, i need to remember to bring my gloves back home from my fathers, and I'm sure there's plenty of other stuff I should do.

The fact is, I've been dying to finish this one calclulator game. So I think it's obviouse that none of the other stuff is going to happen. So i'd say i have a life, I just choose not to live it.

Yah, one of my programs is acting up on me. No matter how wonderful it seems to work, you always find some seriouse flaw with it. But actually, i'm working on it right now... it's scrolling to an error point. Um yah, i guess food sometimes get's in the way. forget about sleep.

Oh, and jrock.. just in case you were wondering and haddent seen it, I figured out the whole deal with the soler system (at least as far as google and variouse books would help me(yes, i have a lot of time))
