TI Connect v1.2.1 and 73 Explorer
Posted by Michael on 6 March 2003, 01:07 GMT
TI Connect v1.2.1 has been released. The key update is that TI-GRAPH LINK now works with the black serial cable on Windows XP and 2000, through the use of a service. Also, the TI-73 Explorer now lives. It's just a rename of the TI-73, but remember, more letters make it better!

Yay, TI-73 and gets pretty blue and red colors, and . The original 83 Plus has gotten to be blue AND silver and got a processor and memory upgrade. Seeing patteren? THe bigger the number, the better the clac gets...
So, it makes sense that the TI-89 should get to have a upgrade. Like more memory and speed and a new sleek design, right?
I mean, it's only fair.
TI needs to stop renaming calcs every month, or making them more "cool" and upgrade the TI-89's hardware.

Soooooooo...what's the difference between the TI-73 and the TI-73 Explorer, aside from color?

I have found that this new version of TI Connect does not send files to the TI-89. Originally, I thought this was due to TI-89 ASM v2.08, but after I removed v2.08 and put v2.05 back on, TI Connect still didn't work! So if you have a TI-89, just use TI Connect v1.2, not v1.2.1
