I know I'm replying to my own post, But I seam to be having trouble downloading files from ticalc.

The first time I download a file its okay.
But When I try to download another file, it won't download it.
I will show me the 'File downloading Window'.
But it won't show me any information about my downloading.

So Please If anyone has any information about this please help me.

Okay now i've narrowed the problem down to this.
Any number gusseing Game for ti-89 BASIC will not let me download. Anything else will download, But not number guessing games I don't know why.

Yes, but ti-cas are well known to be a bunch of racists, so this comes as no surprise...

Actually, I think I might just go and code something which uses strong encryption, so that the French and Americans (I guess that means USians...) can't look at it...

Actually people in the US can import strong encryption. The restrictions are on exporting.

On the other hand, they can use routines if that is necessary. These routines should not obligatorily be created by the participant of the game, if that the author gives his agreement.
It is authorized to use development.
If you are already the author of a program, it is authorized to present it !
It is however not authorized to take again an existing source, and to modify it.
The programs must be sent to contest@ti-cas.org with a screenshot and must be limited to 2 per category.

The site Ti-Fr (www.ti-fr.org) proposes a similar contest for the creation of utilities. You can propose this type of program to Ti-Fr!

I hope you know that "nostub" on the 82, 83 and 85 are kinda impossible. I hope that the "..should not use.." means that if it is somehow not possible to make it nostub, it may be made for a specific kernel or shell.

Can 83+/83+SE and 86 programs be nostub? I thought that you could only make nostub programs on the 89 and 92+.

The TI-82/3(+(SE)) requires a shell to run assembly programs, but the TI-86 does not--in fact, all TI-86 assembly programs can be run with a shell or as nostub. I am not sure about the TI-85, but I believe that all of its games require a shell.

83/83+/83+SE programs do not require a shell, so the rules may mean that programs should be written without requiring a shell.

hmm, on the 83 "no shell" means "no squishing", which means that programs become twice as big as normal. Some waste of valuable space that is.

No, using the Zasmload loader program, (or an unsquisher program you might write yourself,
you can run squished programs

I'm getting confused. Is the contest only for games?
