Phoenix III Released
Posted by Eric on 16 April 2001, 06:19 GMT
Patrick Davidson has released a preview of the long-awaited Phoenix III for the TI-86. This, as you might infer, is the sequel to his super-popular game, Phoenix. New stuff, you ask? The thing's not even complete yet, but it already features grayscale and a scrolling background. Gameplay is smooth as ever. And it only gets better from here... Update (Eric): Well, I promised y'all that it only gets better from here, and here you go: Phoenix III Preview v0.01 again, this time for the TI-83+! Huzzah!

i still say that the 92 is a cheap imitation of the 89. u r paying 50 bucks more just for a big screen a fancy keyboard that is too big to shove in your pocket and it might cause some pain to your testes.

oh wait...i had to cut the barcode out to get a rebate so i can't return it...damn.
i think TI should give us rebates. i got a 40 dollar rebate on the Casio so all i payed was 60 bucks.

just for the record and since i like to brag and boast, i have 4 graphing calculators. ( in other words, the expensive kind)
here they are with the price i bought em' for (i'm not selling these except for the Casio)
TI-83:$100
TI-83+ : $100
Casio: $100
TI-89: $150
i also payed 20 bucks more for the 89 so that is $170 because i wanted the 2 year warranty.
so let's see...
i payed a total of $470 on calculators.
read this and weep all u poor people that can't afford calcs!
and if u think i'm making this up, i'll email u a pic of me and the clacs so there!
(please buy the Casio off me)
