i still say that the 92 is a cheap imitation of the 89. u r paying 50 bucks more just for a big screen a fancy keyboard that is too big to shove in your pocket and it might cause some pain to your testes.

Other way around. The 92 preceded the 89, so essentially, the 89 is a cheap imitation of the 92, with a smaller screen and a harder-to-type-on keyboard, created to placate technophobic teachers.

anyways, wouldn't u find it rather difficult to carry a 92 around and say your school didn't allow 89s or 92s, then if u did bring a 89 to school, it would look a whole lot like an 83 then if u brought a 92.

It's the other way around. The 89 is a smaller version of the 92.

And not being able to fit it in your pocket? Then the problem is obviously not the fact that the 92 is too big, but rather that you need to get pants with bigger pockets.

i also payed 20 bucks more for the 89 so that is $170 because i wanted the 2 year warranty.

Oh, I can do that too. Lessee ... go to education.ti.com and casio.com and perhaps even hpcalc.org, get some GIFs of calculators, take a picture of me, paste the calculator pictures onto the picture of me in Paint Shop Pro, and voila. ^_^

83: free for me: won it at 8th grade MathCounts district (I got 3rd)

85: ~$100

86: ~$110

89: ~$130

so my grand total (for a superior set of calcs): $340

If YOU think I'm making this up, just look at what calcs I've released programs for, and those aren't even my better proggies.
