Phoenix III Released
Posted by Eric on 16 April 2001, 06:19 GMT
Patrick Davidson has released a preview of the long-awaited Phoenix III for the TI-86. This, as you might infer, is the sequel to his super-popular game, Phoenix. New stuff, you ask? The thing's not even complete yet, but it already features grayscale and a scrolling background. Gameplay is smooth as ever. And it only gets better from here... Update (Eric): Well, I promised y'all that it only gets better from here, and here you go: Phoenix III Preview v0.01 again, this time for the TI-83+! Huzzah!

AAAHHHH!
Phoenix is going to take over calc gaming. The tyranny must be stopped. Oh well, maybe my gem of a game can top his.

I'm very disturbed that you feel the need to mention that my games only have 20 versions. I am aware that this is a deficiency, but if you had bothered to read my other posts, you'd know I will soon fix this with my script to automatically create 500 versions per day.
Anyway, even though naming a shoot-em-up game "Phoenix" may not be original, it's certainly original to apply that name to other types of games, like the wonderful "Phoenix 31337" number-guessing game that will be released, very soon (as soon as I've finished Phoenix 5555, which is already well under development). So just wait, soon you will see the real power of Phoenix.
On the other hand, if you really do like the "Kart" games so much, I might be willing to try to placate you by releasing a couple hundred extra versions of them, if you pledge in exchange a lifetime of servitude to the Evil Phoenix Conspiracy (tm).

Number one: Good for you, I was thinking I might have had to send the Phoenix Storm Trooper Death Squad after you, but you have changed my mind.
Number two: Come one, who else has created an Evil Master Plan to release over 31,337 games with the same name? Nobody! If that's not creative, what is?
Number three: Right, but 100% of the Phoenix auto-programming script is!
Number four: Of course I am! And while you are it at, note that I am even better in programming Phoenix-Pascal, the special version of Pascal I am creating just to help in developing new versions of Phoenix!
Number five: And number guessing games, don't you dare forget that!!!! But, wait a minute ... who told you that Phoenix 21,452 wouldn't be an RPG? I certainly never said that!!!!!!
