2004 POTY Results
Posted by Michael on 10 January 2005, 15:49 GMT
We have tabulated the votes for the 2004 Program of the Year award. The results are in and Wacky Fun Random Numbar Generator has swept every category. Just kidding. For the real results, view the POTY Winners page. If you would like to see the original surveys, their results are now visible through the Surveys Index. To everyone who released a program in 2004, thank you, and we send extra congratulations to our POTY winners! Keep releasing outstanding programs and we will have an even better competition in 2005.

Been waiting for this since Jan 1st.
I figured that Acelgoyobis was a dead lock to win the 83 category, but the others surprised me. Especially since the 82 program won without a vote. Personally, I like Bomber Dude, but it wasn't, by far, the best program for the 68k calculators, at least that's my opinion. I have no comment on the 86 winners, since I didn't play any of them.
But congratulations to all of the featured programs and the POTY winners!

Great job, everyone. Too bad that WFRNG didn't really win.

I think the best game of the year is Verdate Forest, its definitly better than the pinball i think. Too bad the external levels hasnt come out before the voting began.
