We can only assume that ticalc.org's system that deletes dormant accounts every one hundred days would also delete that statistic... but we'll never know, unless and admin says other-wise?

To the best of my knowledge, we do not delete dormant accounts. The only accounts that have been deleted are users that have violated our policies.

Good job on this great site, but how many of those accounts are for the same people, or dormant? 50,000 is a huge number of accounts, for a graphing calculator program website (basically). I believe the only other person in my grade at my (inner city) school who has a graph link is a friend who I gave my USB link to (I am very happy with serial). I don't know if anyone in any other grade has one, but games do get around.

Yeah. Games are like viruses. One person gives it to five people and each of those five give it to five others...

Not to mention all those phony chain emails. :)

Yeah, I bet 75% of the accounts aren't even used, but we still have a pretty good number of people who come here at least once per month.

That figure is totally wrong. Probably about reversed, with max 25% never being used.

That said, there are certainly a *lot* of dormant accounts. But most have been used a couple of times before falling dormant.

Games aren't the only things TI's can do. They can do your math homework or help you study for your English test. But still, games are cool :D

Also there are nearly 7 billion people on Earth and many sites have more than 50k members (and some in shorter amounts of time). I am not criticizing, just stating facts. The percentage of people on this site vs. the population of the world is 7.143*10^-6% (You could do the math for verification, but I assure you it is all good).

All I can say, is that it was a good idea for TI to start packaging Graph Links with their calculators.

Wow, 50,000 users and 100,000-ish comments. I bet more than >80% of the comments come from <10% of the users. I have my doubts that even 10% of ticalc.org users are still active.

That's very true. You look at the posts on all of these news items and it's the same 20 people or so every time. Every once and a while someone else will chip in, but 20 people definitely isn't 50,000 (go figure).

I am willing to bet that no_one has about 10%. Though, I am probably not doing to shabby in the post department. I used to post like it was going out of style. Remember that one survey where I had like half the posts, and Jeremiah had the other half....

He's probably one of them people that just wanted to rate a file or download a few files and then leave and he knew he had to have an account, so he made one. He probably won't upload any files, write any reviews, or post any comments.
