More TI-84 Plus News
Posted by Michael on 2 May 2004, 17:16 GMT
We have made several additions to the site for the new 84+ product line. The TI-84 Plus and TI-84 Plus Silver Edition pages have been added to our Calculators page. There is also now a TI-84 Plus section of the archives. Personally, I would recommend that only programs that require the 84+ to run be placed in the 84+ directories. Most if not all 83+ programs should run just fine.
Lastly, the 84 Plus Silver Edition has been available to the public for the last week. Your local Target store has them for $129.99. Most other places are still waiting for a shipment though. The 84 Plus remains widely available.

I see that the other calculator pages have been updated. What happened to the overclocking links? Work on your gramar.
Quote: the overall latest stylistic designed from TI
Jargon, and it should be design, not designed.
Acomparison chart that lays out information all on one page would be nice.

You should make a note in readme.upload, maybe even on the form, to remind people that most programs are compatible with both calculators. Same goes, I guess, for 92+/V200.

For a peek under the hood, so to speak, of the 84 SE, take a look at the DS message boards (article linked in above URL). Photo of the circuit board included!

The clock function could be very interesting,
does anybody already know how precize it is?
(It will make the celestial part of Navigate! 04.26 more automatic, you'll need only a stopwatch, a Ti84 and a sextant. If that clock works precize over a longer period)
