Civilization Simulator

Civilization Simulator I is a BASIC game for the 83/83+ by Kerm Martian. An ancient civilization is created and lives in 3-D, fully zoomable and scrollable. Your goal is to guide your fledging society through three ages, gathering food and building structures. Due to the nature of BASIC programs, gameplay is slow but the game does an excellent job with the graphics.

The previous comments say it all. Advanced graphics engine, atleast it looks like one, un optimal coding or the advancedness cause a slowdown that ruins the whole game.

Nice graphics. I'm probably not gonna dl it cause im not to hip on 'civilization' games. However I might try to convert this to asm (if i can). I'm curious, how long did it take to make and debug this game?

I think this is the first BASIC game to be featured seriously (as in, not in jest-eg nickd's Random Number Generator v1.00000069) in about 3 years. As somebody else said, if I was into Civ games I would download it.
