Legend of Zelda Demo v0.52.6 released
Posted on 27 January 1999, 05:46 GMT
Sam Heald has released the Legend of Zelda Demo v0.52.6 for the TI-82 (Ash), TI-83 (AShell83), and TI-86. This new version adds a shield, an octorak enemy, increased hit points for the bosses, four directional sprites for enemies, a larger overworld, and fixes numerous bugs. The level development is now being headed up by Derrick Ward. A final release should be available in mid-April.

Doesn't that screen shot look a LOT like the demo version of Zelda that Harper Maddox and myself made for the 83 a while back? I have better things to do than download it and check it out... I was just wondering if anyone else had tried both versions and noticed similarities.
Like I said, juuust curious.

I'm sorry to be the one who breaks from this pack of Zelda lovers, but this game is just like Zelda 2 (IT STINKS). First the players must be smaller. Second, don't have chests and trees blocking your way on the other side when you don't know it. Third, scrap game and ask Bill Nagel ( THE KING OF TI PROGRAMING ) to make a Zelda.
Sincerely,
A True Zelda Fan

i've heard alot of hype about the Zelda betas and demos that are making their way to the calculator. I'm in the process of making a graph link ( 40$ is alot of money for a cable!!!) and I've found faulty schematics. Can anyone help me find ones that work? thanks
