Dimension TI has opened up a new purchasing section where low priced calculators and TI-Graph Link cables are sold. When you look at people like fedex and UPS totally milking the prices so their workers go on strike, it's actually logical.
I live in Chicago where a MAJOR UPS strike occurred a matter of months ago. Seriously, this totally caused shipping across the nation to grind to a halt for about a week or so. Workers needed better pay. So they raised the pay, logically, and the workers returned to work....
How do you think UPS is supposed to compensate for the millions of dollars lost as they pay their workers more than they can afford? The only solution for them, sadly, is to raise the shipping prices for consumers.
Right now there's commercials, ads, even people coming to my high school's career resource center to recruit people for UPS. Guess they're preying on teenagers who work for $5.15 an hour as it is at McDonald's or something like that who have abnormally low standards for their wages. Oh well... this is abnormally off-topic, but those are my two cents :)

Hi, its me =) I think there's something that most people overlooked. I found it quite interesting when I was looking at the HTML in the page that the form for purchasing something goes straight to Adam's email. What's so interesting about this is that your Credit Card # is included in this. So, this brings up a possible security issue. I for one, wouldn't give out my CC# (my parents') to a distributer (Adam) that...well, isn't big... So, maybe he can clear this up...

You still don't seem to understand, WE ARE NOT DOING THIS FOR A PROFIT. It's great that you are selling calculators for a profit. You have different goals than us. If some people buy your calculators, that's perfectly fine with us. Since we are doing this to help the community, if they find better deals then that's great for them. We are trying to get a secure order form, but since we've only been in "business" for about a week, we still have some things to work out. We are not trying to compete with you, as far as I'm concerned, you are a good service too. If people don't want to order from us for various reasons, I'd tell them about your TI-Central. When you say "See DIM-TI does not see where we are comming from" you imply that we care about TI-Central. I couldn't care less about it. Until now, I haven't acknowledged TI-Central's existance.

So what if they are making profit? Why do people sell? To make profit, or am I wrong? I think that they are doing us all a favor by keeping the prices low, and everyone should stop complaining about the shipping charges, etc. Their prices are low, might not be the lowest overall, but we have to give them credit for their efforts (specially since they're not some large store or anything.) Just let them be, if you want to buy a calculator from Dimension TI, do so, if you don't want to, then don't. My 2 cents...

One last comment...
Adam has kept a professional tone through all of his replies, and this needs to be admired. I really think Dimension TI is making a great job with what they are doing...Now that's 4 cents I've ported to this forum...

You have a link to Dimension TI but not to Calculators Inc. What is the URL to Calculators Inc?
