What steps do the file archivers take to prevent unclean files form being approved?

Answer

We do as much as we can to prevent any file with inappropriate material from
being allowed to enter the archives. A virus scan of each file is done before
the file archiver even gets to look at it. From there, the file archiver reviews
each file and decides whether the file is appropriate or not. Since it's
possible that something could slip by the file archivers, we highly encourage you
to report files you believe are inappropriate using the form provided on each
fileinfo page.
