How do I convert to GIF format?

Currently our file upload system only reads GIF format screenshots. If you upload screenshots in any other format, they may be rejected by the system when we process the file. Renaming the file to end with “.gif” will not actually make the file a GIF file despite appearances; you must actually convert the file. Various software image converters are available to do this (for instance, Easy Graphic Converter for Windows), or you can save the file in an image-editing program that supports saving to GIF format.
