Question

Can I update my files?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you update your files, rather than upload new versions separately resulting in multiple versions of the same program for download. If there's a good reason that
users might actually want to use an older version over the newer one (for example, the new version is still an alpha/beta version, the older version still has features the newer one
doesn't, etc.), we can make an exception, but in general you should always update your files when uploading new versions. To do this, use the File Upload Form the same way you would if you were submitting a new program, but use the exact same file name and the exact same
directory that the older version of the program currently does. When you submit the updated file, you will be asked to confirm that you are uploading a file which will update an
older version. Click “Update” and you will be done. When you update files, you do not need to upload your screenshots again. Your screenshots will not disappear if you
do not upload them. If you upload them again you run the risk of having two copies of the same screenshot available on the same fileinfo page.
