to suggestions for surveys that would be intensive and people would be sure to flame:

1. do you think it is about time TI made the ti-86+?

2. if ti were to make a ti-86+ and called it the engineering edition to market directly against the hp engineering calcs with more ram than the ti-86 and over 900k of flash rom and had thier apps developers aggressively market and develop engineering apps (and actually made apps for more engineering branches (chemical, nuclear)) would you buy it over the voyage 200, or even the ti-89?

Everyone who requests a 86 Plus never understands that you are describing a 89! Furthermore, there really is no support for such a calc...You have maybe 20 people out of millions.

if they made the 86+ engineering edition with things like 3-d graphing, DE, customizable unit conversions, rpn optional mode settings, and actually marketed it for first semester and on engineering majors i think it would sell better than the voyage 200. so what if it sounds like a ti-89, the voyage sounds like a 92+ to me.

will ti ever make such a calculator? hell no! i own a hp39G and a ti-92+ and that is all the calculator that i need for school. i am a nuclear engineering major and the amount of engineering apps that ti/dvtg has should be further developed.

is ti scared of hurting the 89's marketing lifespan, they sure didn't care about the 92's. i hate the 83 line of calculators and i really think ti is making a big mistake of killing it oldest line of linkable graphing calculator (not the 81 and certainly not the piece of s**t ti-82). i know ti's market is basically highschool but they really should have something between the 83+se and the 89 series. with the usb link cable not able to support the 86 that put the first nail in its coffin. well to hell with ti, my hp is a ti-86 equivalent!

Hallo. Ich wollte wissen, wenn es einen anderen TI-Calc Aufstellungsort gibt, der auf Deutsch ist. Jedermann gefallen Pfosten eine Antwort.
