Way to go! one of the few uncorupted people. Smaller screens and less memory never did cut it for me.

Because it's really all most people need. I had a TI-83 because that's what my high school told me to get, but it wasn't long before I learned to use it well and bought a TI-89. Many people, however, were still asking me how to turn on/off the graphing axis even after several years had passed and would have saved money by just buying a simple scientific calculator and a game boy. Most people from my class were not computer science majors either. Buy what you need.

That's rude. I happen to be a geek and I find that insulting. Just because someone wants to play certain games on his or her computer doesn't make that person a "loser." Maybe you're a loser...losing out on the experiences other people have. How would you like it if we all called you a loser for...say...playing sports? Geeks typically find their interests in games, computer hardware, programming, and things that stimulate the mind. It's time for you to accept that.

I think you're right: everyone can do what he or she wants, don't insult people for what they do or want!

Every Body is talking about geeks like it is a bad thing, when in reallity it is probably the coolest thing on the planet. Geeks know what the hell they are talking about and know more about what they talk about then they even realize!! so being nice to the geeks is not just being nice to a geek, it is being nice to your future boss!!! in my opinion Geeks rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw there is a difference between geeks and nerds...

nerds know how to do somthing, wheras geeks can teach it to anybody he meets!!!

Which is sadder? A geek talking about calculator games, or a guy who has nothing better to do than go out of his way to apply to a site to make fun of people? Your call

I'm sorry you feel this way. I'm sure if you stopped to talk to the people, they might talk to you. But I'm sure you've deemed yourself "too cool" to talk to them. A lot of geeks have been hurt by society in some way, and it's up to society to repair that damage. It is strange that a geek can lose popularity over a computer which holds such a vast amount of knowledge, whereas a sportsperson gains some popularity because all eyes are on him or her several times a month. Who are we to say that physical gain is above mental gain? In the long run, it is the geeks that keep you happy. The computer you typed on was constructed by many a geek. You should thank those who are patient enough to learn so that technology can be improved, instead of condemning geeks' social habits. I apologize for becoming so inflamatory, but I have been misunderstood enough to know when something should be said. Stay strong.

I've done the same thing. I only have an 85 and 89, so I use VTI to play games on other calcs.
