I think they should have a top 5 or so programs and an annual contest and ranking. It would give more progammers a chance and help publicize all programs.

Ticalc ought to divide up the genres like racing, RPG, ... You could get right to the games you want.

What ticalc.org should do with its archives is have a search option in addition to its current browse system. This system would allow people to restrict searches to specific calculators, shells, program type, genres, and rating (see my post below for my ideas about a rating system).

I generally agree with tical.org's decisions for featured programs, but I think that they miss a few and have some that shouldn't be featured.

I also think that ticalc.org needs to add a vote feature in the program information. An option could be added to the web archives to sort by rating. A voting system could be abused, but requiring an account would limit this.

User comments would be a nice feature too. A link could be added underneath the download statistics in the file information. The user comments would also have the individual vote above it.

POTM should be brought back. To be eligible for POTM, a program would have to have a user rating of at least 9/10, out of at least 50 votes (so someone can't just have a few friends vote 10's when a program is released and have it appears on the ballot). Also, new versions and ports of winning programs should not be able to win again. A POTM symbol should be listed next to the rating in the archives.
