why does the review have to be serious? can't we just give a comment?

You're supposed to state your oppinions and recomondations and back them up. By the time you do that you have more then just a comment.

It would be nice if they had a second section in each file for comments just under reveiws so you could just write something like, "trash". That will never happen though.

Sometimes it takes me a couple of days in between to read reviews, I like to do them in small bulks. So, if you don't see any indications that your review has been posted in a week, it's either because I'm on vacation, I'm overloaded with reviews, or that it was rejected.

I have only written two reviews so far, but they were both published. The main reason I haven't written more is because I've been very busy lately (honestly; I'm not making an excuse) and because I spend a long time using a program before reviewing it to make sure I know it well before writing the review. The biggest thing I concentrate on when writing reviews is to ensure they are fair and accurate.

Yeah, same here. I double (and triple :) ) check all of my reviews; plus I spell check them. I have never had a file rejected because of this. It always helps to at least double check your reviews.

I remember rejecting a couple of yours when I briefly was Reviews Editor. You don;t get any kind of notice if your review is rejectesd like you do when you upload a file that is rejected. It is just simply deleted.

You know, ya'll need to change that. Ya'll need to send somethin to the e-mail address that they post sayin somethin like..."We're sorry, but the review you tried to post on <name of file>'s file info page has been rejected by either grammarical reasons or because it did not completely review the file. Better luck next time!!!" Then, they would try to make it better suit the file and maybe run it through a word processor before trying to post it again.

Just a suggestion.

Are you trying add to your southern Stereotype by saying 'ya'll'? (no offense, I say it to)

You guys are justing putting down southerners more by using "southern slang" in the posts LOL. I have lived in the south for 9 years, and you don't see me using "southern slang".

Hey, you know what I just realized, if you you take the "y" in your name "an--y--key", and put it at the begining of your name, it spells "Yankey". Yay!

Sometimes I do send out a message to a review author whose review I'm rejecting, generally because it has some good advice that he/she should pass along to the author or whatever other adivce I think is appropriate, but the review itself just doesn't cut it for the site.

Yeah, I've been really busy lately too, but none of the four reviews I made were rejected! :) I never thought it would be possible to be BUSY in the summer, but I guess it is. :-\
