i dont live in the real world; i live in front of my computer. in fact, all my survival needs are right in front of me: computer, internet, monitor, keyboard, printer, webcam, speakers, lights, a chair, etc.

If by TI community you mean someone who owns a TI graphing calculator, then yes. If you mean someone who downloads programs for their graphing calculator...no. I'm the main supplier for TI programs at my school as far as I know...it's pretty annoying :P

Two years ago, I participated in the national finals of the Chemistry Olympiad. By pure chance, one of the other finalists also programmed for the 83. Since then I haven't seen him a lot though, so I voted "Yes, but only once".

I've never met anyone particularly famous, but I have met someone else with a Detached Solutions slide cover, and also another person who had written a program on ticalc.org. I also met someone who had played my game, which was pretty cool. These were all just random events too.
