I'd like to say that I think ticalc is a great site with little room for improvement. However, there is one detail that I think needs work. (I usually don't complain about anything unless I feel strongly about it.)
Posting of files is just too slow. The time lapse is usually in excess of a week. (At least, that's how it's been for everyone I know.) I understand that ticalc has a lot of files in queue at any given moment but, if necessary, I think they should bring more file archivers aboard.
This is not meant to insult any of the present file archivers. We all have lives outside of ticalc, and I'm sure they're doing the best job they can.

No offense intended here, so please try not to take any. Here's my suggestion: Stop whining about your present state. Do something to help yourself. Stop waiting on someone else to fix your problems. Why don't YOU become the programmer that will advise/help other Mac users? Instead of saying, "Poor me, get someone to help me," say, "I'm in a bad spot. I'm gonna learn how to fix things, then I can help others with the same problem."
It's the same with the idiots (and these people I am picking on) that say things like, "Hey programmers! Get off your lazzy asses and port Zelda for my TI-38." My response would be, "Get off YOUR lazzy ass and port it yourself. If you won't then you have no reason to complain."
Oh, and before anyone says it... I do practice what I preach. Just as one example... At Dimension TI, I posted a comment about Final Fantasy VII for the 89. I stated that it's a great game, but it needs a map. The comment following mine said something like, "It already has one." Right. It does now... Guess why. I'll admit, it wasn't that easy. Take a look at the game engine and you'll see what I mean. Decyphering the code wasn't all that easy, but... it's done.
Double Jeopardy answer:
They are... Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened.
The question:
What are the three kinds of people?
God helps those who help themselves,

About more articles... Does anyone think it's the least bit strange that ticalc failed to even mention the (unofficial) release of AMS version 2.01 for the TI-89/92?! It seems like pretty big news to me. One (I) would think that it would warrant a parenthetical word, at the very least!
Just my view,

I think ticalc should review more BASIC programs because there are some good ones out there that have yet to be recognised as such. Most of the reviews are of ASM games and I feel that it should be more balanced.

I have to agree with you there. I guess I come off as this BASIC support person...but I really support both languages (as I still actively program in both of them). Anyways, I know that the BASIC program I am making now (which, I might add, is quite different from the average BASIC games and is going to be THE best BASIC out there--not being conceited, rather stating the truth...just wait, you'll see. Anyways, my point is that when I release this program, it won't get much credit despite the complexity it is taking me to write this program (when I say complex...I mean complex! This is the most complex BASIC program out there! Promise!). It is pretty sad...but *maybe*:
<little hope or reality>
ticalc.org or Dim-TI will feature it on the main page
</little hope or reality>
<suck up>
(Dim-TI peeps, notice how I took the extra 5 milliseconds to properly uppercase the name!)
(ticalc.org peeps, notice how I took the extra millisecond to properly type out the name!)
</suck up>
That was dumb...
