This is off topic, but I think it's pretty cool...

HOW TO PROVE THAT...1=2
-----------------------
a=b
ab=b^2 Multiplied by b
ab-a^2=b^2-a^2 Subtracted a^2
a(b-a)=(b+a)(b-a) Factored
a=b+a Divided by (b-a)
a=2a Substituted (a=b)
1=2 Divided by a

:P (see if you can find the error in that logic!)

My chemistry teacher did that early on last year... Gave us a day to think about it (bell rang)...

Since a=b, you cannot divide by (b-a), since b-a=0.

yeah, my mom's a math teacher, so she'd probably figure it out...I dunno though, sometimes I'm faster than her with math stuff

I got another one...
assuming girls=time*money...

girls = money^2 (time is money)
girls = ((sq. root)evil)^2 (money is root of evil)
girls = evil (simplified)

kinda immature of a comment, I'll admit that, but still...

But I found an error in yours:

>> girls = ((sq. root)evil)^2 (money is root of evil)
>> girls = evil (simplified)

If you simplify sqrt(evil^2), it would have to be +/- evil... So |GIRLS| = EVIL :p

check your sources. the quote of "money is root of evil" is actually "love of money is root of evil". Its in Psalms

What is best? Well...
After reading through ALL of the pages posted, I have come to a conclusion. Most people agree that a color screen would be nice. (That's what I voted for.)
Also, If the calcs had higher resolution,(83,83+,82) then I would sell mine for scrap metal and buy another one.
And what about the cards? Quite frankly, half the stuff I read made absolutely no sense to me, but the idea that you can sve things on roughly the equivalant (is that spelled right?) of a Floppy is relatively exciting.

Does anyone know when TitanASM is coming out?

I think that TitanASM has been cancelled, if not postponed. There already is, however, an on-calc assembler called Chasm. You can download it here. It is, unfortunately, a bit limited (only accepts HEX numbers, doesn't do long-range addressing).

Maybe since i don't know what long-range addressing is i should not download it... :)

BTW-
has anyone programmed a program that will scan a picture and save the pixels that are on as lines?

Yeah, so? A calculator can also be other stuff... that doesn't bother me... (why do people have a problem with that?)

yeah it can be other stuff, but then the original purpose is lost...oh well...and your digital camera is useless because you can just use your cell phone, or your calculator, or your refrigerator, or whatever...

wouldn't it be cool if we could use HTML in here?
<a onMouseOver="javascript:self.close()"> ...they're scrolling down and what seems like normal text suddenly closes their window...

BTW, check out the utter lack of whitespace, and the fact that you can't do anything about that.

Actually, I'd rather have both a color screen and a generous amount of memory.

How about Wireliess linking support.

On another note, does ticalc not have a messaging board system?

Back on topic, they should make a watch-calculator... man, that would awesome to be able to do arithmetic on my watch...
